We recommend using the PPS Cleaner at least once a year to remove residue and road film from the surface. However, it can be used as often as you’d like, as it will not harm the 5 Star Shine.

How many cars will one bottle of PPS Cleaner cover?
One bottle of PPS Cleaner will cover two cars or 500 square feet of surface.

Is the PPS Cleaner a car wash soap?
No, the PPS Cleaner is not a soap. It is a wipe on, wipe off type of application. You do not mix it with water.

What is shelf life of PPS Cleaner?
Once opened the shelf life is 6-9 months. If it has not been opened, the shelf life is one year.

Does this replace the Neutral pH Car wash soap?
No, this is a product you would use to assist in maintaining the 5 star but would not be needed every time you wish to wash your vehicle. This product is not a soap. Even though the 5 star will last for 5 years on a new vehicle and 3 years for used, over time the shine and beading of the water may diminish because of road film & residue. The PPS Cleaner assists in maintaining the shine and beading of the water, removing things soap cannot.

Will PPS remove tough marks on car after 5 star is applied?
We would recommend using the PPS Cleaner instead of other cleaners to remove stubborn marks, as it will not remove the 5 Star. If a tougher cleaner is needed instead, we would recommend using the other product first then follow up with the PPS Cleaner to reinstate that area.

Does PPS Cleaner remove minor swirls/scratches as the polish does?
Yes, the PPS Cleaner will remove minor swirls and scratches. This should only be used after 5 Star has been applied to take care of that problem.
